This is the RSC Heterocyclic and Synthesis Group's flagship biennial Lakeland Symposium, which will as usual be held in the charming Lake District village of Grasmere (Cumbria, UK).
Online registration will open in mid-December 2024.
We have an outstanding line-up of plenary speakers:

Prof. Darren Dixon (University of Oxford)
Prof. Ryan Gilmour (Universität Münster)
Prof. Veronique Gouverneur (University of Oxford)
Prof. Paolo Melchiorre (Universita di Bologna)
Prof. Anat Milo (Ben-Gurion University)
Assoc. Prof. Elaine O'Reilly (University College Dublin)
Prof. Tomislav Rovis (Columbia University)
Dr. Dani Schultz (MSD)
Prof. Mariola Tortosa (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid)
We will be welcoming applications for supporting lectures, short talks and posters in Mid-December 2024.
The meeting has a friendly, informal atmosphere, with scientific sessions being held in the Grasmere Village Hall in the mornings and evenings, with the poster session and evening social events taking place in the conference hotels. The afternoons are left free for exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District, and an optional conference banquet will be held on Sunday night (additional charge). Accompanying persons are very welcome and there is an accompanying person’s programme of social activities throughout the meeting.
Accommodation at the conference hotel can also be reserved (full board packages) upon registration (mid-December 2024). Alternatively, a registration-only rate is also available for those wishing to make their own accommodation arrangements. Students who present a short talk or poster may also apply for the reduced cost bursary package, which includes registration, accommodation, all meals and the conference banquet.
