On Thursday 11th January 2024 the RSC Chemistry Education Research Group will host an online symposium – “#TownsFest: A Celebration of Professor Marcy Towns”, the first in an occasional series of online symposia showcasing work in chemistry education research. Professor Towns was awarded the RSC Nyholm Prize in 2019 for outstanding contributions to the teaching and assessment of chemistry climate science and research increasing our understanding of learning in the undergraduate laboratory.
In this symposium, we will host a number of short talks from several invited speakers, as well as a plenary presentation given by Professor Towns.
The event will be hosted online Thursday 11th January 2024, between 2 PM and 5 PM (GMT), and is free to attend, but registration is essential. To register, please complete this short form: https://forms.office.com/e/E0mNQcNXTV by Friday 5th January.
The event is hosted by the RSC Chemistry Education Research Group, and supported by the IQ-Lab Project (https://lablearning.ku.dk/).
