As we look ahead to the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections against the backdrop of the pandemic the role of science has rarely been more important to society.
This hustings event will give the scientific community the opportunity to quiz the political parties on what steps they will take to put science at the forefront of their work in Holyrood over the next term.
The event will be chaired by Talaat Yaqoob FRSE and we will be joined by candidates from across the political parties in Scotland.
Covering the topics that matter most to the scientific community event attendees will be able to put their questions directly to the party spokespeople.
This event is organised in collaboration with the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Institute of Physics and the Royal Society of Biology.
