As part of their prize, many of the RSC’s Prize winners deliver lectures across the UK and Ireland. These lectures provide an opportunity for winners to share their outstanding work, and in turn, for members of the community to hear about and discuss that work, meet with winners and develop new connections.
This page provides information on lectures with confirmed dates.

What our prize winners say
The lecture tour provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the work of my research group. All hosts made me feel very welcome. They had advertised my talk widely. The presentations were very well-attended and on every occasion, I received relevant questions from the audience. I hope that the work presented might have inspired some students to opt for research in analytical chemistry, who knows, maybe as a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University!
I wanted to thank the RSC again for this prize and the fantastic opportunity to speak to chemists around the country about the work we do. As a process chemist, I find people often don’t understand the role – which we can only remedy by going out and speaking about it. I had a fantastic time engaging with scientists I might not necessarily have met otherwise, and a great opportunity to engage directly with students. This has given ideas for future collaborations as well as enhancing my network.
The way the Centenary Prize is arranged with the lecture tour definitely made me engage with it more, and I really enjoyed it! I met a lot of people and made some connections that might lead to future collaborations, so I am excited about that!
