It’s fantastic to know that the meetings we have arranged through our passion and enthusiasm for formulation has provided a model for other groups to learn from.

The 新月直播app下载's Formulation 新月直播app下载 and Technology Interest Group (FSTG) promotes all aspects of product formulation from initial product concept, through the development of prototypes, to market testing and manufacture, across the diverse markets impacted.

From paints to shampoos, drugs to agrochemicals, knowledge of formulation is essential. It combines a range of different ingredients to optimise the required product performance, like protecting metals from corrosion or making hair tangle free or killing cancer cells.

The FSTG committee is made up of individuals from across formulation academia and industry who work together to deliver scientific meetings to advance formulation and so accelerate the move to sustainable products across many industries.

In 2020, the FSTG was able to transfer its meetings successfully online, running five meetings with 1,400 registered participants.

I am really pleased as chair of RSC FSTG that the courage, reliance, drive, adaptation of my team in these difficult times has enabled the RSC FSTG to run such excellent meetings which has proved to be inspirational to the RSC.

The RSC-FSTG has always been an active group, and in 2020 we were able to demonstrate our ability to evolve and adapt to challenging circumstances to continue to provide high quality online scientific meetings and networking opportunities. The recognition of the Inspirational Committee Award shows that the work done by the whole committee is exemplary.

I couldn’t have been more pleased.

Overjoyed that we won the award. The only downside is that we can’t currently meet up to celebrate!

The RSC-FSTG strives to arrange meetings and symposia that are relevant to chemists and scientists working in all areas of formulation science. The award recognizes the efforts of the committee to keep education at the centre of its activities and the way it adapted to meet recent challenges without compromising the quality of the meetings.
