I have 40 years’ experience in all aspects of water and effluent management, specialising in working alongside a wide number of manufacturing and processing industries. I have extensive experience in all aspects food processing, dairy industry, brewing and distilling.
I am also very experienced in the pulp and paper industry and the pharmaceutical industry.
I am particularly experienced in process optimisation and water recycling to reduce volume and costs of effluent disposal. I specialise in engineering design of associated water treatment plants.
I am experienced in negotiating with water companies and the EA regarding all aspects of water supply and disposal and associated EPR licence management. I have led a number of project management contracts and I am particularly experienced in managing model forms of contract such as IChem E Red Book and Green Book.
In terms of effluent management engineering and feasibility studies, I have extensive experience of the following technologies: filtration, DAF, aerobic biological (particularly MBR), anaerobic digestion (AD) and reverse osmosis and disinfection for water recycling.
My work undertaken ranges from initial commercial and technical feasibility study through to detailed process design.
I am very experienced in determining the cost benefit for various process treatment applications.
I am a totally independent consultant with no vested interests but I do have experience of working with all of the main process technologies and contractors.
