The Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry Discussion Group is one of the RSC's many Interest Groups. The Interest Groups are member driven groups which exist to benefit RSC members, and the wider chemical science community, in line with the RSC's strategy and charter.
Scope
The group seeks to support the scientific interests of those involved with any aspect of co-ordination and organometallic chemistry.
The primary focus of the group's scientific interests tends to lie in the syntheses and reactions of compounds formed by the d- and f-block elements, although any aspect of co-ordination chemistry falls within the sphere of interest of the group.
Activities
- Organising scientific meetings (annual meeting normally over a period of two days early in July)
- Providing bursaries to encourage postgraduate participation in meetings
How to Join
RSC members can join the Coordination and Organometallic Chemistry Group by updating their details in the “My communities and subscriptions” tab of the online RSC membership area. Please .
