Professor Glaucia Mendes Souza

Dr Glaucia Mendes Souza is a senior biochemist professor at the University of São Paulo’s Institute of Chemistry. Her research is focused on sugarcane biotechnology, genomics and bioinformatics and she works on sustainability assessments of bioenergy production and use. She is a hugely accomplished author, the President of FAPESP Bioenergy Program and holds positions in multiple international initiatives in bioenergy research to disseminate knowledge and advise policy.
