Themes

For MC16 we had a programme covering materials chemistry in all its breadth and diversity. There recordings of sessions on two of the main themes, listed below.

Approaches to material design and discovery
Materials chemistry critical to the design and development of foundation industries, evolving properties and artificial intelligence/computational materials systems, automation, sustainable processes For the Approaches to material design and discovery theme, video recordings of sessions are available for 4 - 6 July of the programme.

Materials for energy
Materials chemistry related to energy generation, conversion and storage, including Li-ion batteries and beyond (Li-metal anodes, solid-state, Na-ion...); emerging solar cell technologies, photo/electrocatalysis and solar fuel generation, fuel cells, solar and thermoelectrics. For the Materials for energy theme, video recordings are available for 3 - 6 July of the programme.

You can choose from 10 individual session recordings from the themes of "materials for energy" and "approaches to material design and discovery". If you choose to purchase video recordings of sessions from this conference, then you will be able to access the recordings until 13 May 2025.
