Our usual short and pithy AGM will review the health of the Local Section over the past 12 months and outline planned events for the rest of the year. With the likely demise of the Hull Chemistry Department, we may be losing some key members of the Committee along with access to our usual University venues. There will be time for Q&As but If there are any matters arising or anyone wants to join the Committee, please let the Secretary know before the meeting.
Following the AGM, Allan and Sarah Rice will give a presentation on the history of Atom Beers and a run down of their brewing processes - with samples to try out.
Solid refresments will be provided. Venue still to be confirmed but hopefully we will have access to one of the ground floor, easily-accessible lecture theatres in the Ferens Building. Everyone welcome.
