PCIG are delighted to announce our third Forge conference at Leeds University Cloth Hall, Leeds on the 12th and 13th of November 2024.
The Forge is a different kind of particle conference. We mix inspiring invited plenaries from world renowned experts in this area with a brief to mix in what inspires them to get up in the morning and excites them about their work with their lecture. The aim is to inspire our other delegates. We invite speakers, especially PhD students, postdocs, University Technicans and system owners of characterization equipment and early career scientists to submit lectures and posters to us. This time we also plan to have a session on instrumentation led by experts in the field, so present and discuss your work with world experts and learn more about the techniques you used.
If you can submit a short 500 word abstract on your work to pcig.rsc@gmail.com with a preference for a talk (15 minutes ) or poster we will get back to you.
Closing date is 18th October 2024.
For the 2024 edition we will also host a separate instrumentation stream geared to system owners, technicians and users to provide key information on getting the most out of their instruments they use for particle characterization.
