This meeting will offer the chance to hear about the new of development and research in the area of elemental analysis. We have three speakers who will present their novel work analysing new matrices and target species, not traditionally analysed by ICP-MS.
Invited speakers are
Dr. Andreas Riedo, University of Bern, Switzerland, 'Searching for indicators of life in space exploration missions – from element to isotope patterns using Laser Ablation Ionisation Mass Spectrometry'
Prof. Dr. Frank Vanhaecke, Ghent University, Belgium, 'Isotopic analysis of essential mineral elements in the biomedical sciences'
Dr Dmitriy Malinovskiy, LGC, Teddington, United Kingdom, 'The effect of roasting on boron isotope ratios in coffee beans: implications for provenance studies'.
