This live webinar looks at a wide range of fulfilling and challenging careers across sustainability.
We will be joined by guests, Vikki Callaghan, Marketing Development Manager, BASF and Dr Daniel Stewart, co-founder of ViridiCO2.
BASF are clear about their aim to move toward a more circular economy by increasing use of recycled and renewable feedstocks, shaping new material cycles and creating new business models.
ViridiCO2 is a start-up from Southampton University. They are setting out to revolutionise the sustainability of chemical manufacturing processes by deriving products from carbon dioxide (CO2) feedstocks to close the carbon loop. Its innovative technology is able to directly replace fossil fuels used in the chemical manufacturing process, with repurposed CO2.
They will talk about their career in sustainability and the opportunities that are available.
Chaired by Robert Bowles, MRSC, Career and Professional Development Adviser at the ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ.
This webinar is relevant to all chemical scientists, particularly undergraduate students.
