Come join us for breakfast and a chat with women working in STEM on Wednesday 12th February between 9am - 11am!
Our event will run alongside IUPAC's Global Women’s Breakfast: Building Bonds to Create Future Leaders. This is an event designed to assist in expanding networks and learn about various roles in STEM careers, and is run at various universities, companies, national chemistry societies, government laboratories etc. It is a great opportunity for all to celebrate women in STEM and network!
The morning will consist of a panel of women working in STEM from Newcastle at different stages of their careers. Each of the panel members will give a small introduction about themselves and their career path to date. This will be followed by brunch where people have an opportunity to talk and write down any questions they would like the panel to answer, and finally the panel session itself where those questions would be answered.
The event will be held on Wednesday 12th February between 9am - 11am in BSTC.B.32 (Barbara Strang Teaching Centre)
