AGM and Lecture: "Sir Charles Cameron, Ireland’s first Public Analyst"

Introduction
This illustrated lecture will outline the professional and social life and times of Sir Charles Cameron, his journal and text book contributions to analytical chemistry and public health and give details of the Irish Analysts Association. It aims to celebrate sesqui-centenary the first Food and Drugs Act of 1860, and the subsequent establishment of the post of Public Analyst.

The lecture will be followed by the Section's AGM.
