Guest of Honour: Dr Declan Mulkeen, Chief ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ Officer, Medical Research Council

Delegates at this conference will discuss key issues surrounding the funding and commissioning of research in health and healthcare, as well as ways in which academic research and developments in health technology can inform the development of policy.

Attendees will also consider the impact of the Medical Innovation Bill on the uptake of new treatments, opportunities for further collaboration between sectors - with the development of Medical Research Council's 'virtual library' of deprioritised pharmaceutical compounds, progress of Academic Health and ÐÂÔÂÖ±²¥appÏÂÔØ Networks, and latest developments in key areas of research, including stratified and regenerative medicines.
