‘The History of Pigments in Art’

15 August 2014, Margate, United Kingdom

Introduction
The RSC Theme for the year is the Art and Chemistry and to celebrate this occasion the Kent Local Section is hosting a talk by Nicholas Walt about the history of pigments at the fantastic Turner contemporary art gallery in Margate. Nicholas Walt has years of experience in the art industry and supplies pigments to artists such as Damian Hurst and Peter Brook.
Nicholas Walt is the owner of 'L. Cornellelis and Sons', one of the oldest art suppliers in London dating back to 1855. We will meet at 1830 for 1900 at the Turner contemporary. Tea and coffee will be provided and there will be a small charge of £4 per ticket to cover the cost of the venue
